SARAI
Who are you?: Sarai, a rebel. My cause is liberation, reconnecting my brothers and sisters with their identities. Mentoring in Jamaica’s inner city high schools, the students became family and taught me my purpose. I have the ability to connect and speak for those who can’t speak for themselves
Who do you want to be?: Professor of African Studies. Nurturing others into finding and being comfortable with their identities so our magic isn’t suppressed
What do you want to contribute to this world?: Mother of a nation of strong-minded, melanated individuals who are proud to be who they are and conscious of who they are

Who do you want to be?: A woman of God and character and destiny. Free.
What do you want to contribute to this world?: Create a program that helps broken families heal that’re dealing with the drug epidemic in DC. Educate youth about their worth & purpose. Provide service for parents and children to work together. Tell powerful stories through film. Create movies showing African American women in a better light. Show God’s love, give peace, and expose truth--primarily of the drug epidemic and also the truth of the power within ourselves
